Spiritual

Mid-Month Mass

Join us for an intimate celebration of the Eucharist with your peers at our Young Adult Masses on special Feast days at 7:30 pm. Please watch our schedule or let us know if you would like to plan a Mass around your favorite Feast Day. The mass offers heavenly rejuvenation in the midst of our busy earthly schedules and focuses on issues that face us as young adults.

After Mass, the group moves on to sample local desserts, coffee and tea at some of the great restaurants the neighborhood offers. We look forward to seeing you there!

Annual Retreat

Please watch our calendar for dates and details on our Annual Retreat. Our weekend retreat is always very popular and we encourage all our young adults to consider attending. This retreat provides a wonderful opportunity for reflection, spiritual renewal, fellowship, and more.

Desired outcomes for our Retreat include:
  • Taking an inventory of your life to be more authentic to yourself
  • Exploring your passions, your purpose in life
  • Discerning what God is calling you to do
  • Gaining insight and encouragement from others' experiences
  • Increasing alignment between your values and your actions
  • Building relationships with other young adults

Small Faith Groups

Our idea is simple: To bring together fellow young adult Catholics to deepen their faith and love of God while fostering fellowship and deepening the ties with our St. Vincent De Paul community.

So how are you structured and how often do you meet?
We generally follow the parishlife.com format and reflect on that Sunday reading’s gospel passage. There are questions that guide you in delving deeper into the scripture and how it applies to our lives. Typically, groups decide to meet every three weeks on Sunday evening after our 5:15pm Mass. The meetings take place at one of the groups member's houses in what often will end up being a pot-luck dinner format. The facilitator or small faith community leader is generally rotated and the role is best described in the following link http://www.parishlife.com/faithsharegl.htm

So when can I join a group and how do I go about it?
Groups form after the Annual Retreat, but please ask us at any time, if you are interested...we can help slot you into a group that is currently active. Groups tend to last a minimum of six months and often times longer, so we ask you prayerfully consider the commitment prior to joining.

We hope you consider joining one of our faith sharing communities! You can learn more at our Monday Night Events. We typically have 2-4 groups active with about eight members per group.
