Our classic Yosemite weekend yet again proved to be one of the great memorable trips on our calendar. Warm temperatures greeted our sixty-eight young adults from St. Vincent de Paul and St. Dominic’s for an absolutely wonderful weekend in Yosemite National Park. Saturday was the day for the serious hike of Half Dome, the less serious hike from Glacier Point, essay writing for our future med school student, and lots of picture taking. That night we feasted on a well-deserved tri-tip steak and chicken barbeque and relaxed under the stars with smores around the campfire. On Sunday we cleared camp just in time for morning Mass at the Visitors Center and about twenty young adults made it to the Ahwahnee Hotel for Sunday brunch. Thank you to all who helped out in any way for the weekend and a very special thank you to Cathy Carrig and Kimber Kaiser for all their preparation - we couldn't have done it without you!
